Günümüzdeki ihtiyaçlar çerçevesinde uygulamada görülen yapılaşmalar nedeniyle artık doğan uyuşmazlıklara yeterince çözüm getiremeyen 634 sayılı Kat Mülkiyeti Kanunu'nda değişiklik yapmak amacıyla, Adalet Bakanlığınca hazırlanan, halen TBMM Adalet Komisyonu gündeminde bulunan tasarı bu incelemenin konusunu oluşturmakta olup 16.10.2000 tarihinde Adalet Bakanlığı Kanunlar ve Kararlar Dairesi Genel Müdürlüğünün takdirlerine sunulmuştur.
