Privacy Notice

This notice is issued by Saba Özmen Attorney Partnership under Article 10 of the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("KVKK") to inform data subjects about its personal data processing.

1. Data controller

2. Personal data processed

Through the contact form on this site we process:

identity data (first name, surname);
contact data (e-mail address, telephone number);
any further data you choose to include in your message.
Apart from strictly necessary cookies, the site collects no visitor data.

3. Purposes of processing

Your data is processed in order to assess your enquiry, respond to you, evaluate whether a legal advisory relationship can be established, and meet obligations arising from legislation.

4. Legal basis

Processing is based on Article 5/2-(c) (directly related to the conclusion or performance of a contract), Article 5/2-(ç) (compliance with a legal obligation) and Article 5/2-(f) (legitimate interests) of the KVKK; in all other cases it is based on your explicit consent.

5. Transfers

Your data may be disclosed only to public authorities and courts legally entitled to receive it, within the limits set by legislation. Your data is not transferred abroad.

6. Method of collection

Data is collected electronically, by automated and partly automated means, through the contact form on this website, by e-mail and by telephone.

7. Retention

Your data is retained for as long as the purpose of processing requires and until the end of the limitation periods laid down in the applicable legislation, after which it is erased, destroyed or anonymised.

8. Your rights

Under Article 11 of the KVKK you may apply to the data controller to:

learn whether your personal data is processed;
request information if it has been processed;
learn the purpose of processing and whether the data is used accordingly;
know the third parties to whom it is transferred at home or abroad;
request rectification where it is incomplete or inaccurate;
request erasure or destruction under the conditions of Article 7;
request that rectification, erasure and destruction be notified to third parties;
object to a result adverse to you arising from analysis solely by automated systems;
claim compensation for damage suffered due to unlawful processing.

9. Applications

Requests may be submitted in writing, in the manner set out in the Communiqué on Application Procedures to the Data Controller, to Erenköy Mah. Ethemefendi Cad. Anzaf Rezidans No: 101 D: 1, Kadıköy / İstanbul, or to sabaozmen@sabaozmen.av.tr. Applications are concluded within thirty days at the latest.
